A quiet residential neighborhood street
Our Housing Model

How we provide housing

A straightforward model built around one goal: getting people into stable, dignified homes.

The Model

Simple by design

We don't run a shelter. We don't manage a program with a waiting list and a case manager. We rent homes in real residential properties in real neighborhoods — and we rent private or shared rooms within those homes to people who need them.

01

We rent homes

Rental Housing Ambassadors lease residential properties in our service area. These are real homes in real neighborhoods — not institutional facilities or converted commercial spaces.

02

We prepare each home

Before any resident moves in, we ensure the home is clean, safe, and comfortable. Each room is furnished with the basics. Shared spaces — kitchen, living room, bathrooms — are maintained for everyone.

03

We rent rooms to residents

Qualified residents rent a shared or private room within the home at an accessible rate. They share common areas with housemates and become part of a small, stable household community.

We stay involved

Our team remains available to residents throughout their tenancy. We handle maintenance, address concerns, and work to ensure every home remains a safe and welcoming place to live.

Who Qualifies

Who we serve

We provide safe, welcoming private or shared living rental rooms for seniors, veterans, young adults, college students and interns, working professionals relocating, individuals with disabilities who can live independently, adults experiencing housing instability, single mothers and/or single fathers.

Military Veterans

We prioritize veterans who are experiencing housing instability or homelessness. Whether you served recently or decades ago, if you need stable housing, we want to hear from you. We work with veterans regardless of discharge status or service history.

DD-214 or equivalent documentation is helpful but not always required.

People Looking For A Place To Call Home

We also serve individuals who are currently unhoused or at serious risk of losing their housing. We do not require a perfect rental history or a specific income level. Instead, we consider each person’s circumstances as a whole. We welcome seniors, young adults, college students, interns, working professionals who are relocating, individuals with disabilities who can live independently, single mothers and fathers, and adults experiencing housing instability.

No minimum credit score or prior rental history required.
